The formula for a high-end electric mountain bike is generally straightforward: a lightweight frame, top-tier suspension, advanced 12-speed gears, and a powerful mid-drive motor. While many e-bikes fall into this category with prices ranging from around $1,500 to over $10,000, truly premium options often come from European manufacturers.
Finna is a relatively unknown brand, but it’s known for sleek and minimalist road and gravel bikes in Spain and parts of Europe. Their bikes feature slim tubing, aggressive designs, and stylish color schemes, making them look as good as they perform. With the Wind Peak, Finna is expanding into the mountain bike market, launching its first electric bicycle and its first foray into the world of mountain biking.
The Finna Wind Peak is packed with performance-oriented features. The frame is made entirely of carbon fiber, except for the rear suspension linkages. It boasts enduro geometry and long-travel suspension from the Italian company Formula. Specifically, the front fork is a Selva C unit with 170 millimeters of travel. At the rear, 185 millimeters of wheel travel provides ample cushioning for big impacts while accommodating the added weight of the motor.
For the drivetrain, Finna has opted for the high-end Sram GX Eagle system with an 11/52 cassette and 12 speeds. The bike is equipped with Formula Cura four-piston calipers that clamp down on 203-millimeter discs for stopping power. It rolls on 29-inch wheels with TFHPC E-Enduro rims and WTB Verdict knobby tires. Riders also benefit from an 80-centimeter (31 inch) Renthal handlebar for leverage.
The Wind Peak uses a less common e-bike motor: the Polini EP3+ MX. Polini, known for high-performance components for gas-powered scooters, produces potent e-bike motors. The EP3+ MX delivers 600 watts of peak power and 90 Nm of torque, comparable to Bosch’s top-tier Performance CX Race. A top-tube mounted screen provides riders with access to five assist modes, and a 630-watt-hour battery promises up to 130 kilometers (81 miles) of range in Eco Mode.
This high-performance e-MTB is not inexpensive. The retail price is 7,599 euros, or approximately $8,300 USD, placing it among the best from brands like Giant and Trek. However, its array of stylish and impressive components suggests it will stand out on the trails.

I’m Rohan Mehta, the voice behind KhelRe—a trusted and steadily growing blog dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) in India. With over five years of experience as a tech and automotive blogger, I turned my frustrations with owning an EV into a mission: to help others make more intelligent choices in this fast-evolving world of electric mobility.
I’ve been an early adopter of EV technology—I repurchased my first electric scooter in 2019. That experience opened my eyes to both the promises and the pitfalls of this new mode of transport. From slow charging times and range anxiety to misleading specs and hidden costs, I’ve faced it all. But instead of walking away, I decided to write about it.
That’s how KhelRe was born—a no-nonsense, hands-on blog where I share practical, real-world reviews of EV cars, bikes, and scooters. I break down features, range, performance, and pricing from a user-first perspective. I take pride in simplifying complex tech into clear, valuable insights—offering tips, ownership stories, and advice you won’t find in flashy press releases or sales brochures.
Whether you’re a first-time EV buyer or just a curious auto enthusiast, my goal is to help you navigate the EV landscape with confidence. My motto: “EV knowledge should come from experience, not just brochures.”
When I’m not test-driving the latest e-scooter or comparing charging networks, you’ll probably find me tinkering with my garage EV setup, chatting with fellow enthusiasts online, or sipping chai while writing my next blog post from a cosy local café.
